What is Love? How is it defined? How do we measure it? These are important questions that can only be answered by going to the source.  “…let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” (1 John 4:7,8)

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost are the embodiment of Love. They are the fullest and complete expression of the principle of Love. Love is who God is and it is the Law of Love that governs all of creation.

And in this manner, in this way, “…God so Loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. The principle expressed therein in Self-Less, Self-Sacrificing Love, it is a love that “…seeketh not it’s own...”.  Love is the Law of Edification. When we are in Christ, for that is what it means to be a Christian (Christ in us) When we embody the Character of God like Christ our interaction with others will be for the purpose of edifying others. My soul purpose will be to interact with them to see them grow, flourish and develop, not for the benefit of myself, not seeking my own interest but theirs.

A Christian who does not Love, is a Christian in name only and they take the name (Character) of the Lord Thy God in Vain. And by them the name of God is blasphemed by those who know not the Lord.
